Black Currant Decaf

$12.25

Did you know that Black Currant is also known as Cassis?  You've probably heard of Creme de Cassis to mix with champagne.  Cassis is a popular beverage in Europe and became popular in 1712 for its so-called aphrodisiac properties.  There was a warning to consume with great care!

This particular Black Currant is a decaf blend.  All of the decaf teas we carry are processed using the C02 process.  The advantage of this decaf process is that no chemical solvents are used to remove the caffeine.   Instead a  method using high pressure and temperature extract the caffeine.  Since this tea is a high-grown Ceylon tea, it retains its original character under the C02 decaffeinating process.    You're going  to love it.
